Beatles - Live At The Hollywood Bowl (LP)

The Beatles speelden hun eerste concert in de beroemde Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles op 23 augustus 1964. De opnamen van de driesporenbandrecorder waren echter van zo'n slechte kwaliteit dat ze niet werden gepubliceerd. Ook nog twee concertopnamen van 29 en 30 augustus 1965 waren niet genoeg voor een release.

Toen de vraag naar een live-album echter in de loop van de tijd groeide, ging Beatles-producer George Martin zitten om het op te nemen. Het resultaat werd 13 jaar later gepubliceerd: "The Beatles: Live At The Hollywood Bowl". In 2016 is het legendarische live-album inmiddels herzien en zelfs uitgebreid.
