In 2018 bracht Snow Patrol voor het eerst de LP Wildness uit. Het is het zevden album van de groep. Na een stilte van ruim 7 jaar keert Snow Patrol eindelijk terug met nieuwe muziek. The Forest Is The Path is de achtste LP van Snow Patrol. De Noord-Ierse groep begon er aan in 1994 en zijn dertig jaar later nog steeds 1 van de bekendste groepen.  Including the new single The Beginning, The Forest is the Path is an album rooted in reflection, introspection and interrogation.
