Fontaines DC, Massive Attack en Young Fathers hebben de handen in elkaar geslagen en brengen een EP uit met 4 nummers ter ondersteuning van Artsen Zonder Grenzen die aanwezig zijn in de Gaza strook. The 12” vinyl only release, features material from Fontaines DC, and Massive Attack/Young Fathers, and a ceasefire sleeve design by 3D of Massive Attack. The reverse sleeve of the 12” features words written on a hospital whiteboard in Gaza by Doctors Without Borders medic Dr Mahmoud Abu Nujaila – words which went viral on global social media - depicting the desperation of medical professionals and civilians in Gaza. Tragically, Dr Nujaila was killed in a strike a few weeks later. Dogrel is het eerste album van Fontaines DC. De Ierse groep bracht het album uit in 2019. Dogrel is een ode aan de Ierse Doggerel, een vorm van poëzie die teruggaat tot de middeleeuwen. Het album kreeg lovende kritieken en was de eerste stap naar een doorbraak voor Fontaines DC. Post-punk uit Ierland, dat kan nooit slecht zijn en dat is het ook niet. Het album moest, toen het uitkwam, enkel Taylor Swift laten voorgaan in de charts. De groep kreeg voor A Hero's Death een Grammy nominatie voor beste Rock Album.
